Dear Fellow FCCLI Members:

Friday September 24, 2010 will be our last meeting with the current
board members. We will be voting in a new board. All members are welcome
and strongly encouraged to attend. We are looking for volunteers who
would like to serve on the Board as well as Committee Chairs.

A list of committees is available on our FCCLI website. Currently we are
seeking a Chair for Welcome Home and for Waiting Families. It would be
wonderful if a family who has returned home recently would like to
volunteer to chair these committees.

We need your help to keep this organization running for your children
and for you. This past year we were able to run a book review, holiday
and CNY parties, a large waiting families gathering, cooking classes, a
picnic, a LI Ducks game to name a few. The Youth Group has been actively
holding events all year long.

We want to continue with these activities and do even more. We have
plans for workshops and other great events for all ages but we can't
without your help. Please consider donating a little of your time to
help your children get the most out for FCCLI.

Please let us know in advance if you will be attending this meeting. Our
attendance count will determine if the meeting venue will change.

Last September, an Interim Advisory Board and two Regional Coordinators were
elected.  Board positions are a one year term.  If anyone would like to join the
Board or act as Coordinator, please contact Mandee Zapken at toyzco@aol.com
or Beth Laxer-Limmer at edcoordinator@juno.com .

Current Board members are expected to attend.  One committee chairperson is
required with an updated report.  All members are welcome to attend.
