| A General Membership meeting of FCC-LI is being held on Sunday, May 18th at 3 pm at the First United Methodist Church 25 Broadway Amityville. Since Waiting Families meetings have changed slightly, and are only open to families that are logged-in or are actively pursuing special needs/waiting children, this is a great opportunity for all of us to come together. It is also our hope to bring the membership together to discuss ideas that you may have, review the volunteer needs of various committees and develop new committees. We will also go over the year's upcoming events. Look for our upcoming survey that will address pertinent issues - your input is extremely important! Everything FCC-LI accomplishes is due to the work of our volunteers. With your help, we hope to provide even more events and programs for our member families. We will be providing pizza and drinks at this meeting, so you must RSVP in order to participate. Children are welcome, and crafts/coloring pages will be available. Please email Jayne Hirsch at jayneh@fccli.org or Kristen Hayes at kristenh@fccli.org no later than May 15th. We look forward to seeing everyone on May 18th! |
| Directions to Church: From Southern State Parkway or Sunrise Highway: Take Route 110 South, all the way into the Village of Amityville. (Route 110 becomes Broadway.) At the center of the Village there is a Gazebo - bear left and continue on Route 110/Broadway. The church is on the left side, BEFORE Route 27A/Merrick Road. There's a municipal parking lot across the street from the church. Enter the church from the front and go up to the second floor. |
