Autumn is upon us and the leaves add a splash of color to the crisp blue sky.

Let's make our own SPLASH...  into the sparkling blue water of an INDOOR  pool!

Yes, Youth Group* is going swimming!                                     (*ages 8 & up or 3rd Grade & up)
So put on your most colorful swimsuit and join us for some fun!

This will be a swim only event.  We will not be eating together as a group.  Informal
arrangements can be made for those wishing to go out afterwards. There are
many fast food and regular restaurants nearby.  (You can also bring some drinks
and snacks to eat outside the pool area.)

So, bring a towel, a combination lock, a pair of goggles, flip-flops, soap and
shampoo, a hairdryer, etc. and make yourself at home in the large and clean
locker rooms.

FEE: For best price a Nassau County Leisure Pass is required.  Children age 4-17
are $3.00.  They can get in with any adult who has a leisure pass.  I will be happy
to meet at the front desk to help those from other counties get in for this price if
you get there at 12:30.  Otherwise, you can call me on my cell phone (and hope

Parents are invited to swim along with the children, and perhaps even organize
some relay races and other games.  Any volunteers?

Those adults who wish to go in the pool must pay (see above link for fee).  If you
wish to sit in the stands and watch from above, there is no charge to enter the
facility.


PLEASE NOTE:  Parking is usually very easy, but when there is a swim meet, it
can get very crowded. (You may have to park in a lot a little further away.)  
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE IS A SWIM MEET STARTING AT 1 PM!!!  Good
reason to be on time...or early!
