*OTHER NOTES
Flushing has great 99cent stores. Great for kids, there are all sorts of
items in these places you not find in other stores. There are 2 on Main st.
One at the corner of 41st rd and the other a little down from the Flushing
library.  Kissena Blvd.which forks off from Main st. just at the Flushing
library,has a good 99cent store in a mini mall,way in the back,just down
from the library.

PARKING --  Parking in Flushing can be tough - but it's not impossible.
Here is a list of parking lots.  If you choose metered spots, bring lots of
quarters and check back often - citations can be very expensive if you let
the meters run out.
                                 **********************
Here are a few options:
**suggest the first two because they are lots that charge by the hour and
you don't have to worry about going back to feed the meters.

    1. Pass the library (41 Ave and Main St), as soon as you pass the
rail road overpass, the parking lot is on your right side  about a half
    block after the train

    2. Turn right to 41st Ave. on your right side, there is a parking lot
paid by hours, if you purchase more than $10 at the supermarket
you will get 1hour free parking.

3.Turn left to 41st Ave, on your right, there is a public parking lot for
4 hours or 12 hours, but usually no space by 9am. (feed the meter)

    4. Go further, pass Roosevelt Ave, turn right onto 39th Ave, you will
see parking lot on your left, the top level is the 12 hours parking,
otherwise 3 hours limits. Do not park here unless you can find a
12 hours parking space because you will have to walk back in the
    middle of your tour.
